THETA is symphonic, progressive rock band featuring female vocalist Yoko Royama of Vermillion Sands, a fine Renaissance influenced outfit in the '80s. Their music features prominent keyboards and violin, while evoking a dreamy, childlike innocence. At times, THETA veers to jazz-rock territory. The keyboard player, Yuko Tsuchiya, is a talented composer whose skills are remarkable on electric piano.
